Blending Sharp and Soft Strokes

Quiet Moments Painted with Soft Pastels

The soft pastel still lifes invite you into peaceful scenes where time seems to pause gently.

Dynamic lines

My graphite drawing of a woman standing with her back to the viewer serves as the perfect stage for exploring the expressive power of line. In this kind of work, the body is less an object and more a structure of rhythms—a constellation of curves which translates into marks on paper.

Rather than chasing anatomical precision, my dynamic line drawing embraces the gesture—the immediate, energetic sweep that captures how the figure, the spine becomes a fluid axis, the shoulders a pair of counterbalancing arcs, the hips a subtle shift of weight that suggests motion even in stillness.

..." Over the years, I’ve immersed myself in creating art in a versatile choice of media, each piece reflecting moments of growth and discovery."

The painting reminded me of the Hampton Court Tulip Festival I visited; it brought a fresh burst of colour and emotion to my living room—truly inspiring.
